About

Our Premium Microneedling with Plant Cell Therapy service includes the combination of 3 treatments: Exfoliation treatment (client can choose between Dermaplanning or Microdermabrasion), Microneedling treatment with Plant Cell Therapy and Chromotherapy treatment.

Dermaplaning is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a sterile surgical blade to gently scrape away the top layer of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (commonly known as "peach fuzz") from the surface of the skin. It is a non-invasive exfoliation technique that can help improve the overall appearance and texture of the skin.

During a dermaplaning treatment, a trained technician will hold the skin taut and use short, swift strokes with the surgical blade at a 45-degree angle. This process not only removes the outer layer of dead skin cells but also removes the fine facial hair, leaving the skin smoother and more radiant.

Here are some key points about dermaplaning:

  • Exfoliation: Dermaplaning provides a deep exfoliation by removing the dead skin cells that can make the skin appear dull and uneven. By removing this layer, it allows for better absorption of skincare products and can improve the effectiveness of other treatments.

  • Smoother Skin Texture: The removal of dead skin cells and peach fuzz through dermaplaning can result in a smoother skin texture. This can help minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars.

  • Enhanced Product Penetration: After dermaplaning, skincare products can penetrate the skin more effectively. This can lead to improved results from serums, moisturizers, and other skincare treatments.

  • Brighter Complexion: Dermaplaning can help reveal a brighter complexion by removing the dull outer layer of skin. It can also reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation and give the skin a more even tone.

  • Temporary Hair Removal: While dermaplaning removes the fine vellus hair on the face, it does not cause the hair to grow back thicker or darker. The hair will grow back at the same rate and texture as before.

Dermaplaning is a safe and painless procedure. It is suitable for most skin types.

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that exfoliates and rejuvenates the skin. It involves using a handheld device to gently remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells, revealing a smoother and more radiant complexion underneath.

During a microdermabrasion treatment, tiny crystals or a diamond-tipped wand are used to exfoliate the skin. These crystals or the abrasive wand are gently moved across the skin's surface, buffing away the dead skin cells and stimulating cell turnover. The exfoliation process can help improve the appearance of various skin concerns, such as fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, uneven skin tone, and texture.

Microdermabrasion is typically a painless procedure, and it doesn't require any anesthesia. It is suitable for almost all skin types and can be performed on the face, neck, chest, hands, and other areas of the body.

Benefits of microdermabrasion include:

  • Exfoliation: By removing the outer layer of dead skin cells, microdermabrasion helps to reveal fresher, smoother skin.

  • Improved Skin Texture: Microdermabrasion can reduce the appearance of rough or uneven skin texture, leaving the skin feeling softer and more refined.

  • Enhanced Product Absorption: By removing the barrier of dead skin cells, microdermabrasion allows skincare products to penetrate more effectively, maximizing their benefits.

  • Diminished Appearance of Scarring: Microdermabrasion can help fade the appearance of acne scars, surgical scars, and other superficial scars over time.

  • Brightened Complexion: The exfoliation process can help improve skin tone and reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, resulting in a brighter and more even complexion.

Microneedling with Plant Cell Therapy treatment is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a device called a dermapen to create tiny punctures in the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the skin's natural healing response, promoting the production of collagen and elastin.

Our plant cell therapy product utilized in this service is enriched with the hydrating properties of hyaluronic acid. When hyaluronic acid and plant cell therapy are combined with microneedling treatments, they can provide a powerful synergistic effect on the skin. Let's explore the individual effects of each component:

Hyaluronic Acid:

  • Hydration: Hyaluronic acid is a powerful humectant, which means it attracts and retains moisture. By applying hyaluronic acid during microneedling, it helps to hydrate the skin and improve its moisture levels. This can result in plumper, smoother, and more supple skin.

  • Skin Barrier Repair: Microneedling creates tiny channels in the skin, allowing for better absorption of skincare products. When hyaluronic acid is applied after microneedling, it can penetrate deeper into the skin through these channels and help repair the skin's barrier function. This can strengthen the skin's protective barrier, reduce moisture loss, and improve overall skin health.

  • Collagen Stimulation: Hyaluronic acid has been shown to stimulate collagen production in the skin. Collagen is a protein that provides structure and firmness to the skin. By applying hyaluronic acid during microneedling, it can help promote collagen synthesis, leading to improved skin elasticity, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, and a more youthful appearance.

  • Anti-inflammatory Properties: Microneedling can cause temporary redness and inflammation in the treated area. Hyaluronic acid has anti-inflammatory properties that can help calm and soothe the skin after microneedling. It can reduce redness, irritation, and discomfort, allowing for a faster recovery and minimizing any potential side effects

Plant Cell Therapy:

The key advantage of plant cell therapy is that it harnesses the natural healing and regenerative capabilities of plants. Plant cells contain active compounds such as antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals, which are beneficial for the skin. When this product is combined with micro needling treatment, these plant-based stem cells can help stimulate collagen production, improve skin elasticity, and enhance the skin's ability to repair and renew itself.

When applied during microneedling, plant cell therapy can provide the following effects:

  •  Anti-Aging Benefits: Plant stem cells possess anti-aging properties that can help stimulate collagen production and promote skin rejuvenation. This can lead to improved skin elasticity, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, and a more youthful complexion.

  • Skin Repair and Regeneration: Plant cell therapy can support the skin's natural repair process and enhance its ability to regenerate. It can help to accelerate healing, reduce inflammation, and improve overall skin health.

  • Antioxidant Protection: Plant-based ingredients are often rich in antioxidants, which help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals. This can help prevent premature aging, improve skin texture, and promote a more radiant complexion.

  • Brightening and Even Skin Tone: Some plant extracts used in cell therapy have brightening properties and can help fade dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin tone. This can result in a more even and luminous complexion.

When hyaluronic acid and plant cell therapy are combined with microneedling, they work together to enhance the benefits of the treatment. Hyaluronic acid provides hydration and promotes collagen synthesis, while plant cell therapy brings additional antioxidant protection, anti-aging benefits, and skin rejuvenation properties. This combination can result in improved skin texture, elasticity, hydration, and overall skin health.

The procedure is usually well-tolerated, and any discomfort can be minimized with the use of a topical numbing cream. After the treatment, it is common to experience some redness and mild swelling, which typically subsides within a few days.

For optimal results, multiple sessions of microneedling with Plant Cell Therapy treatment may be recommended, spaced several weeks apart. It is important to follow the post-treatment instructions provided by your practitioner and protect your skin from sun exposure.

Chromotherapy for the skin involves using specific colors of light to address various skin concerns and promote overall skin health. Different colors are believed to have different effects on the skin, and chromotherapy can be used in conjunction with other skincare treatments or as a standalone therapy.

Here are some common colors used in chromotherapy for the skin and their associated benefits:

  • Red Light: Red light is often used to stimulate collagen production and improve blood circulation in the skin. It may help with reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, promoting a more youthful complexion, and aiding in the healing of skin wounds.

  • Blue Light: Blue light is commonly used for its antibacterial properties and its ability to help manage acne-prone skin. It can help kill acne-causing bacteria, reduce inflammation, and promote a clearer complexion.

  • Green Light: Green light is known for its calming and soothing effects on the skin. It can help reduce redness, irritation, and inflammation, making it beneficial for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin.

  • Yellow Light: Yellow light is believed to stimulate lymphatic flow and detoxify the skin. It may help improve skin tone, reduce pigmentation issues, and promote a brighter complexion.

  • Purple Light: Purple light combines the benefits of red and blue light. It is often used to target both acne and the signs of aging, making it a versatile option for those with multiple skin concerns.
